Mary Jean "MJ" Lastimosa was among the few Binibining Pilipinas 2011 applicants who was asked to come back for the final screening that would determine the final list of the official candidates for this year's Binibining Pilipinas.
She is the daughter of Arabian Saud Al-Shabrami and Filipina mother Marites Lastimosa.
She was the Mutya ng Davao 2008. After the pageant, she was asked to represent Davao in the Reyna ng Aliwan 2008, the battle of all festival queens in the Philippines. She won the title, hands-down.
Mary Jean settled in Davao City seven years ago for a scholarship grant. She's a campus beauty queen as she also won the Mutya ng UM crown in 2006.
